Anime Expo Workshop Reservations - Cancellation Policy: Due to the limited capacity and special nature of this event, all Anime Expo workshop reservations are final sale and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to another guest by contacting us before your scheduled workshop time.

Experience Plushumi The Plushie Workshop at Anime Expo!
Los Angeles Convention Center 2026
Join us for a special Anime Expo edition of our patent-pending plushie-making experience. Learn how our signature plushies are created and by the end of this beginner friendly workshop, you'll have a cuddly creation ready to take home.
A valid Anime Expo badge is required to access the workshop location. Workshop reservations do not include Anime Expo admission. Anime Expo badges must be purchased separately.
What to Expect:
With guidance from a Plushumi instructor, you'll discover how our plushies are brought to life from yarn to finished creation.
You'll watch a live demonstration of our signature knitting devices and learn how they're used to create Plushumi plushies, with a chance to try the knitting device during a guided demonstration.
Then it's time to bring your plushie to life! You'll stuff your plushie, add eyes and facial features, sew on the ears, and personalize the final details. Each Anime Expo plushie includes an exclusive Anime Expo hat accessory, with additional accessories available for purchase while supplies last.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have a handmade plushie and a fun memory from Anime Expo to cherish long after the convention ends.

Workshop Policy
Participants must be at least 7 years old to participate in our workshops.
1 Person, 1 Plushie: Each participant must reserve their own seat and create their own plushie. Only guests with reserved workshop spots may participate & enter the workshop.
Anime Expo workshop designs are limited to the White Bear and Beige Bunny.
Space is limited. Advance reservations are required.
